There are two quotes that I seem to go back to when I think about my art and disappear into the studio for hours.

"One's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions." Oliver Wendell Holmes
They apply to the new work I created since learning clay monoprinting. It has allowed a freedom of expression and movement, combines my ceramics experience with painting in a way I never expected.
The results invoke Asian art, pure abstraction and sometimes fabric patterning.
What more could an artist desire? Endless time within the parameters of real time and the freedom of creativity.
